Alexa Local Concierge
Local Concierge enhances Alexa’s conversational interface, allowing customers to discover top restaurants and effortlessly make reservations using voice, visuals, and touch. This project streamlines dining by enabling table bookings through simple voice commands, positioning Alexa as the ultimate assistant for managing complex tasks.

Lead UX designer
Lead the end to end CX. Created design concepts, User Journeys, Interaction maps, VUI & GUI designs, Prototypes.
Collaborated with engineering and product teams to finalize the launch
Visual designer
Created assets following the Alexa design system and provided detailed specifications for all Echo Show viewport profiles.

Project goal
The main goal of this project was to provide customers a seamless and convenient booking experience, similar to a concierge using voice and touch interactions. This project represented a significant step toward positioning Alexa as a true assistant, capable of handling increasingly complex tasks.
Restaurant reservations
The booking screens were designed for all Alexa Echo Show devices, launching the first Alexa 1P experience for a seamless customer journey.
We partnered with OpenTable to bring this integration to life.
Booking flows
The initial launch targeted multiple voice commands to accommodate various customer scenarios. Key utterances included “Alexa, book a table” and “Alexa, book a table at [Restaurant Name].” Customers could also specify details such as time, party size, date, or a combination of all to personalize their booking experience.
